To help make this forum enjoyable for everyone, including moi, there are a few things to keep in mind when posting here.

Exercise somewhat decent behavior. You can be funny here, be a bit of a wise-ass, have heated debates, express opinions, but don't be abusive. Keep some semblance of respectfulness toward others. An excellent example of good forum behavior can be observed at http://www.candlepowerforums.com. It's THE nicest forum environment on the net.

Although this may change, I'm currently not allowing images to be uploaded to my server, so pics and avatars must be hosted from either a free service like Photobucket.com, Myspace.com, your own website, your own AOL account, etc. Do not hotlink them from sites that you have nothing to do with, because you'll be sucking up other people's bandwidth and the owners will come complaining to me.

Keep avatars to a max. of 100 X 100 pixels, and signature pics to a max. of 300W X 100H. Otherwise the forums start looking crappy with broken table layouts break.

Here's the stuff to avoid:

1. Spamming. Legitimate registered users can promote themselves, people they like, things they like, etc. No problem there, but spammers are outta' here.

2. Porn. This is a porn free forum. Nice and clean (relatively). If you post porn, it will be removed and placed into a private directory where it will be subjected to closer scrutiny. More seriously though, that's not something we want around here.

3. Totally swearing a blue streak. We're not trying to be too Disney here, but we're also not trying to be a slimy truck stop. Keep the cursing to somewhat of a minimum, especially the really bad words.

4. Not doing what the admins ask you to do, or arguing with the admins. If you're getting out of control, and asked to knock it off, please do so.

In all, I'd like to keep this place enjoyable for most anyone. If issues arise, I'll work with someone to straighten out any issues, and chances will certainly be given within reason. I'm not gonna' start banning people if I can avoid it. But again, don't abuse the forum and it's policies.

That should cover it for now. If I think of anything else, I'll add it here.
